1934-A, $1000 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ. Fr-2212-G. This is the first of a newly discovered run of five consecutive Thousands offered in this sale, all remarkable for their originality and state of preservation. Each of these notes is fully embossed, with crackling fresh paper and outstanding eye appeal. This first note from the run is well centered, as one would expect for the assigned grade. The colors and inks are as bright as the day the note was printed. True Gem high denomination notes are not easily available in today's market, and this sale represents a wonderful opportunity for one or more collectors to take home a beautiful example.
