1929, $100 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ. Fr-1890-G. KL-2754. This is a very rare type in this lofty grade, with just a half dozen examples from all districts graded at this level by both of the major grading service (four from PCGS and two from PMG). This Chicago district note boasts bold inks, terrific embossing, and wonderful eye appeal-all that one would expect for the grade. The market for high grade small size notes has shown significant strength in the past year, so a final realization well in excess of our estimate would not be a surprise.
