1856 N-7 R2 Upright 5. NGC graded MS-63 Brown. Lustrous golden tan and light brown with hints of light bluish steel overtones in protected areas. A very attractive cent, just a few microscopic specks of darker toning from flawless. A barely visible scuff under the I in AMERICA is the best identifying mark. Sharply struck M-LDS, die state c. A faint die crack extends from the bust tip to near the upper right point of star 1 and a fine radial die line is visible down the right edge of the second T in STATES. The die clashmarks over EN in CENT are gone. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
