1856 N-1 R1 Italic 5 VF30. Five points sharper with a few light contact marks on otherwise smooth, attractive surfaces. The notable marks are a small nick close under the chin, a shallow scratch between the E & D in UNITED, and another in the dentils over S-O. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate delicately woodgrained with some darker chocolate brown toning on the obverse. Rare LDS, die state g, with a series of 5 rim cud breaks over D, STATES. The cud over the D is weak while the other 4 are clearly defined.
