Lot 840
1853 N-13 R1 Repunched 1 AU58. A mint state cent that was dipped and has just started to retone. Has the luster and look of a red uncirculated cent. No spots or stains. The only mark is a tiny diagonal nick on the midpoint of the jawline. M-LDS, die state b. The tiny points from the E in CENT are gone but the repunching on the base of the 1 in the date remains clear.
