1723 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny Martin 4.44-Gc.22 Rarity 5 VF20. Slightly sharper but cleaned and retoning light bluish steel brown and olive with faded red in protected areas. Other than the cleaning this piece is flawless. The surfaces are perfectly smooth and there are no marks. Very late die state with a long "Horn" break up into the field from the bust and several die cracks. This piece is clearly later than and superior to the Martin plate coin for the LDS of this variety. Listed on page 45 in the "Redbook." Weight 102.2 grains.
