1849 N-11 R1 Repunched 1 EF40. Sharpness EF45 or slightly better but there are some light contact marks scattered over both sides including a small pinprick on the jaw, a vertical trail of tiny nicks right of stars 2 & 3, and a dull vertical nick on the truncation over the 4. Attractive glossy medium brown and light chocolate with mint frost covering the protected areas on both sides. Extremely rare LDS, die state f, with a strong rim cud break from the tip of the wreath ribbon to the right side of the adjacent U plus two narrow but clearly defined rim cuds under the ribbon. CC#4 of only 5 confirmed examples known in this rare intermediate die state. The repunching under the base of the 1 is still visible.
