1848 N-41 R1 AU55. Choice frosty steel brown with a trace of mint red showing on the reverse. Attractive satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas on both sides. No spots or stains, and the only marks are some tiny ticks on the chin and two microscopic rim nicks over ST in STATES, none visible without the aid of a good glass. Just a hint of friction on the highest points from mint state, and it has mint-state eye appeal. Scarce EDS, die state a, without crumbling in the left notch of the second 8.
