(1785) Bar Cent Breen-1145 W-8520 Rarity-4. PCGS graded AU-50. CAC Approved. Slightly glossy medium steel brown and light chocolate with microscopic specks of darker toning scattered over both sides. No notable marks or other defects, only trivial ticks of no significance. Only a light touch of friction on the highpoints from mint state. Sharply struck slightly off center to K-4.5. A very nice example of this popular colonial issue that was circulating in New York circa 1785. Listed on pages 73 & 74 in the "Redbook." Pop 12; 49 finer.
