Great Britain. Proof Shilling, 1834. S.3835; ESC-1270 (Rarity-2); KM-713. William IV. Milled edge. Straight topped 3 in date. Obverse bare headed portrait of king right by William Wyon. Reverse crowned value within wreath. Deep blue toning over mirror surfaces. NGC graded Proof 62.

* The most usually encountered proof coins of William IV are those from the 1831 set issued to celebrate the coronation of the new king, and the start of what was to be a brief seven year numismatic series. Proofs of other years of this reign are rare.
