Lot 421
1803 S-265 R4 Large Date & Fraction G6. Sharpness VG10 but dark and lightly corroded. No verdigris. The only marks are a strong nick or shallow cut on the rim behind the head and a scuff of faint scratches on STATES. Slightly glossy very dark steel and olive brown. E-MDS, Breen state II, with a fine die crack from the D in UNITED arcing through the wreath to the E in STATES. The date and legends are strong.
