China. China - Empire. Three Kingdoms, Kingdom of Wu AE "Da Quan Dang Qian" (Large Coin of 1,000 Cash), 238 - 246 AD. Middle-sized type, 33 mm. The same series with the 500 cash we're also offering in this session. The 1,000 cash coins were issued since 238 AD, with an original diameter of 36 mm. The size of this coin keep reducing from 36 mm to later 25 mm due to severe inflation, and finally demonetized in 246 AD. Green toning with some pleasing bright patina spots. The coin will grade AG to Good.
