Lot 300
1796 S-89 R3 Liberty Cap G6. A couple points sharper but cleaned and retoning an uneven mix of coppery tan and dark steel brown. No roughness and the only marks are a couple barely visible rim bruises at the top and bottom of the obverse. MDS, Breen state II, with crumbling at the lips but no swelling in the obverse fields. The date is strong and the legends are complete except for weakness at OF. Would benefit from a decent recoloring.
