1794 S-18b R4 Head of 1793, Edge Device of 1794 PCGS Genuine, VG Details, Environmental Damage. Lightly corroded, strongest on the reverse where the roughness obscures many of the devices. No verdigris or notable contact marks. The portrait displays the details of a piece grading closer to Fine, and the date is weak but readable. Dark olive brown and steel with hints of green patina suggesting this piece was lost in soil for a while. Our grade is VG8 sharpness net AG3. The "Head or 1793" feature is noted on the PCGS label.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
