1793 S-9 R2 Wreath Cent VF20. Variety with a Vine & Bars Edge. Ten points sharper but darkly toned with extremely faint roughness well hidden under a glossy dark olive and chocolate patina. Looks smooth to the unaided eye but there are traces of shallow verdigris in protected areas. Sharply struck with nice eye appeal. The only marks are a tiny rim bruise left of the middle curls and a rim nick at RI in AMERICA. EDS, Breen state I. Struck very slightly off center to K-9 leaving some border beads very tight to the edge of the planchet.
