1909 VDB. Doubled Die Obverse. FS-1101. NGC graded MS-65 Red & Brown. An interesting premier-year variety featuring doubling that is most prominent on the 190 of the date and the RTY of LIBERTY. This is a splendid Gem with pretty golden-red and tan obverse coloration complementing deeper tones on the reverse. There are no mentionable carbon flecks.
