Lot 2130

1909-S. PCGS graded MS-65. Well struck with light patina. A lustrous and well preserved Gem that has hues of pale reddish-orange color. This date is one of the more common in Mint State, generally available in grades up to, and including the MS-63 level. In Choice and finer grades, however, this issue still remains elusive. Softly frosted with pleasing cartwheel effects, the surfaces show a few very tiny abrasions. Both sides are well produced with sharp design and freedom from weakness. Pop 327; 18 finer, 7 in 65+, 10 in 66, 1 in 67 (PCGS # 9153) .
Estimated Value $4,800 - 5,000.
