1886. PCGS graded Proof 67 Deep Cameo. The white-on-black contrast on this Superb Gem proof 1886 Seated quarter is comparable in quality to the presently issued Deep Cameo proofs. The surfaces are brilliant snow-white throughout and practically pristine, with an unimprovable strike. A tiny mint-made lintmark to the upper left of the date provides the only pedigree marker. A low-mintage issue for both business strikes and proofs, 5,000 of the former, 886 of the latter. Pop 6; 1 finer in 68. (PCGS # 95587) .
