Lot 1301

1882. PCGS graded Proof 66. Deep irregular cobalt-blue around the rims fades to mottled orange-gold toward the centers with a hint of lilac-rose intermixed. These glorious colors are present equally on the obverse and reverse. The surfaces are nicely reflective, with no annoying marks or problems, just strong visual appeal. Outstanding eye appeal and a clear choice for the date or type collector who needs a solid Gem Proof Seated quarter. Pop 18; 12 finer, 1 in 66+, 11 in 67. (PCGS # 5583) .
Estimated Value $2,100 - 2,200.
Ex Eliasberg Collection.
