1871. PCGS graded Proof 67 Cameo. A Superb Gem Proof with magnificent originality. Both sides exhibit "target" toning with turquoise-blue, copper-rose, and pinkish-silver iridescence that lightens at the central regions. Watery fields and fully impressed details, the frosted-textured devices are fully visible at all angles of examination. Our research indicates the proof Seated quarters from the late 1860s and 1870s are seen much less frequently in today's market than those that date from the 1880s and early 1890s.
