1803 C-1 R1 EF45. Beautiful frosty steel brown with lustrous golden light brown and tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. Essentially flawless showing only very light friction on the highpoints of the devices. A microscopic pinprick under the B in LIBERTY can help identify this piece, but it takes a strong glass to see it. LDS, Manley state 3.0. The die crack that arcs across the upper part of the reverse is clear and an additional crack from the rim over the M in AMERICA reaches through the tops of the adjacent E & R.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
Ex Ed Fuhrman.
