High relief silhouette of Grant in uniform, shoulder length, unsigned, 10½" in diameter and ½" deep, weight 3½ lb, c. 19th century. Engraved above the image "FIDUS ET AUDAX" (loyal and unquestioning) and flanked below "1822 / 1885". Fine.
