Lot 344

1969, Apollo 11 CM thermal coating. Six (6) 1" square samples of the Apollo 11 kapton foil Command Module thermal coating. The gold side of the foil has been affexed to Plexiglass square in preparation for presentation. The reverse side (silver color) is exposed, the samples were destined for a more formal presentation, but are very interesting in their current form. Includes COA from consignor that reads in part: " This Kapton foil is from Apollo Command Module, 'Columbia'…This foil was given to me in 1969…." Great way to create your own presentation pieces and be able to actually touch the outer surface of Apollo 11 Command Module.
Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000.

Realized $1,560
