Pair of Shrimp. More species of fish and other sea creatures are found in the 100 million year old Hakel Quarry of Hajoula, Lebanon. Because of the fine grain limestone excellent detail of the fossils is preserved. This 11 x 8 inch limestone matrix contains two different species of shrimp. The larger specimen Carpopenaes callirostris has a highly detailed 4 inch long body, a two inch antennae, and three inch long grasping claws. The smaller Carpopenaeus spinator has a two inch long body with three inch long antennae.
