Coptic Textile of Gladiator, ca. 600 AD. Coptic textile depiction of a gladiator. The gladiator holds a large ring and wears a cape. The light-brown background and indicitive of early Christian (Coptic) texitles. Framed for ready display between two panes of clear class. The detail is outstanding and this is a important piece. Height: 15"; Length: 15".
