Painted Cartonnage Portrait Mummy Mask, Ptolemaic Period, ca. 1st Century AD. A Roman-Egyptian Painted Portrait with Greek influences. A handsome and naturalistic red painted face, the painted almond shaped eyes with thick dark brows above, and recumbent Anubis in each of the painted side panels with his draped headdress coffer in bright yellow and magenta makes this a splendid showpiece of Egyptian art.
