Anatolia, Hittite. Cast Bronze Axe Head, ca. 2nd Millennium BC. A rare blade with narrow center and flared end, the cutting edge rounded. The base with tabs at each end and the tang rounded for attachment into a shaft. Height: 7"; Length: 2".
