Apulian. Red Figure Bell Krater, ca. 350-325 BC. A sizable bell krater ornamented on one side with Eros seated on a rocky outcrop and holding a swan or goose in his extended left hand, a chiton-clad woman standing on the right and gesturing toward him. Reverse: Two youths conversing, both are wearing himation; left one, holds walking stick. Details are painted in yellow. Height: 10"; Diameter: 10 ¾".
