The main body is a large oblong garnet, the entire beetle is decorated by one round faceted sapphire, 3 round faceted rubies, 2 cabochon ruby eyes, one cultured pearl and numerous rose cut diamonds, gross weight 17.00 grams, measuring approximately 2 1/2 inches in length.
