Collier & Son, New York, 1911, First Edition, 15½" x 11", 159 pp. Profusely illustrated throughout from photographs, plus some drawings; frontispiece drawing by Charles Dana Gibson. Original maroon cloth-backed light tan boards with color illustration on front cover of batter and catcher at home plate. Attractive early pictorial baseball history book, with events and stories from the past up to the 1910 season. Covers worn around the edges. Light toning throughout. Overall in very good condition.
