1783 Washington Unity Cent Breen-1188. NGC graded MS-62 Brown. Choice glossy light chocolate brown fading to darker chocolate brown in the protected areas. A piece with great eye appeal for the grade with just minor striations in the planchet near the rims (these parallel marks were added to the planchets prior to striking to simulate wear and are always found to some degree on this issue). The date and legends are strong. A very nice example of the popular Washington "UNITY Cent." Listed on page 80 in the "Redbook."
