1836. Beaded Reverse. Overton-106, Rarity 1. PCGS graded AU-53. Well struck with dark old time toning. Although not a rarity by any means, be aware that O-106 is the only reverse in the lettered edge series that has a raised edge with beaded segments (as would become standard with all half dollars beginning with the 1836 Reeded Edge coins struck later in the year (PCGS # 39966) .
