1836. Overton-109, Rarity 3. NGC graded EF-45. Scarce. Mostly untoned. In prior editions, Overton listed O-109 with a Rarity-4 rating. Since the 4th Edition (edited by Donald Parsley following Overton's passing, the rarity has been revised slightly to 3. A diagnostic sharp spike on the outer point of star 7 identifies this obverse. Also, stars 10, 12 and 13 are recut at their upper points. On the reverse, the olive stem is entirely over the top of C. Pop 3; 8 finer for the variety, 2 in 55, 4 in 58, 1 in 62, 1 in 64.
