1932-D. PCGS graded MS-64. Light hint of tone on this satin-luster key date. Production came well into the calendar year 1932, even though the design competition began in late 1931. John Flanagan's model was the one accepted, and his initials JF appear on Washington's neck truncation on the released coins. Pop 578; 83 finer, 11 in 64+, 70 in 65, 1 in 65+, 1 in 66. (PCGS # 5791) .
