1922 Grant Dollar, With Star. PCGS graded MS-67. CAC Approved. Nice even golden toning. What is most in full view when we examine this handsome Grant Memorial Gold Dollar is its thick, rolling mint luster -- it swirls over each side unhindered by abrasions and free of even a trace of toning. A superb bright golden yellow coin of outstanding beauty and importance to the Commemorative collector as well as to any interested in general US gold coinage. From the luster, we next take stock of the details of Grant’s profile. Given the proper amount of strike pressure, the coin was fully brought up by the dies. This issue is struck with and without a small star above Grant’s name. Pop 237; 6 finer, 5 in 67+, 1 in 68 (PCGS # 7459) .
Estimated Value $3,500 - 3,600.
