Lot 5041
1882-O Morgan Dollar. O over S. PCGS graded MS-64. A rare date in this grade, as most of these entered circulation, at least for a time. The surfaces are untoned and retain the flashy luster normally seen on Morgan dollars. The reverse die clearly shows the center bar of the S in the middle of the O Mintmark. Diagnostic die rust is present on the eagle, as seen on all examples of this scarce date. Only 81 have been graded this high by PCGS, with none graded higher.
