1847 Braided Hair Cent. 7 over small 7. PCGS graded AU-53. Toned a lovely dark brown in color and well struck, albeit a bit off center towards 7 o'clock on the obverse. The date shows multiple repunching, and this must be an early die state. An exciting mint error and a coin most collectors would be proud to own.
