1822 Braided Hair Cent. . N-5. Del Bland graded VF-35. Sharper by five points but across star two is a dent, right of E in ONE is a small spot of raised corrosion touching a leaf, over the right side of R in AMERICA is a very small edge dent and on and around ONE are several tiny nicks. Glossy darkish steel brown from a protective coat of wax.
The dent on the second star also tapped the rim below, and lightly on the star above, it is shallow and rounded, and thus not disturbing to the eye. Nice color and surfaces throughout, and popular with date collectors.
Estimated Value $150 - 250.
