Honorius, 393-423 AD. Gold Solidus (4.4 g), Constantinople mint, struck c. 402-406 AD. Scarce. Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Honorius right. Reverse: Emperor in military attire standing right, holding standard and Victory on globe, resting foot on captive below. RIC 1287; Depeyrot 7/1. Perfectly centered on round flan, with some residual luster. Bold Very Fine plus.
