Honorius, 393-423 AD. Gold Solidus (4.5 g), Constantinople mint, struck c. 397-402 AD. Helmeted, cuirassed bust of Honorius three-quarters facing, holding spear and shield. Reverse: Constantinople enthroned facing, foo on prow, holding Victory on globe. RIC 8; Depeyrot 56/1. Some residual luster. Choice Very Fine.
