Macedonia. Neapolis, 424-350 BC. AR Triobol (1.7 g). Gorgoneion facing. Reverse: Head of nymph right, ethnic around. SNG Cop. 227; Gaebler, pl. 16, 26. Minor edge fault, but with attractive old collection toning. Bold, appealing style -- the gorgon portrait very forceful. Superb Extremely Fine.
