1893 Columbian Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. Take a look at the colors on this one! The edges are toned a deep ocean blue, which fades to blazing russet at the base of the letters, and flashy untoned luster at the centers. Similar on the reverse, but not as deep in the color department. Certainly one of the prettiest of this issue we have handled, and worth a premium for the colors. Coins like this normally occur over decades while housed in old National Pages coin albums, or similar sulphur based paper envelopes.
