Lot 1792

1916-S Liberty Walking Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64 Premium Quality. Here is a delight to behold, the rims are toned a deep gold to green color, while the balance of the coin is a bright golden tone. This one was likely mounted in an album for many years, and developed this magnificent color palette. This is the way all coins "should" look, in my humble opinion, after all silver tones (tarnishes) over time, depending on the amount of air that gets to it as well as moisture content nearby and proximity to various elements which can cause a coin to tone faster or slower. Take a look and see what you think.
Estimated Value $1,700 - 2,000.

Realized $2,300
