1864 Two Cents. Small motto. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown. Nearly a gem example of this popular and scarce variety, the surfaces show a couple of tick marks at the top of the shield and there are minor scattered spots. Deep brown in color on the obverse, with more original red on the reverse. Weak on the S in TRUST, and with a faint die crack through the bases of the reverse legend.
Estimated Value $500 - 600.
Purchased with a set 1864-1873 from J.H.N. 8/30/44 for $65.
