1961 Mercury Astronaut Signed Aircraft Flight Reports. Five (5) Aircraft Flight Report And Maintenance Records (8x5.25") for astronauts Leroy Cooper, Wally Schirra, M. Scott Carpenter, Deke Slayton and Alan Shepard, respectively.This must have been part of their astronaut training at Langley AFB in Virginia. It is interesting to note that Slayton's report is marked as "No Flight." All are written in pencil including signatures that are clear and sharp. Actually each form, except for Slayton's, is signed twice. ALSO included is an Aircraft Discrepancy Work Record form (8x11") also filled out in pencil by ground support.
