1853 N-13 R1 Repunched 1. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. CAC Approved. Lustrous mint red fading to light steel brown on the highpoints with 70-75% of the original mint color remaining. The only marks are a small, inconspicuous splash of darker brown toning nestled under the chin and a larger splash of similar toning that catches your eye at D-S on the reverse. Otherwise this cent is just a few tiny ticks from flawless. M-LDS, die state b. The points from the E in CENT are gone but the repunching under the base of the 1 is still visible. Our grade is MS63+. The attribution and Ralls provenance are shown on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 1 finer in 65+. (PCGS # 403929) .
Estimated Value $400-UP.
Ex Del Bland-Alan Meghrig-Dr. Philip W. Ralls.
