1819 N-8 R1 Small Date. NGC graded MS-65 Red & Brown. CAC Approved. Lustrous steel brown and light olive with mellowed mint red covering 15-20% of both sides. The surfaces are satiny and this cent offers great eye appeal. The only notable mark is a small swipe of dark olive brown toning (not carbon) at the E in UNITED. LDS. The die line that connects the bases of the A & second T in STATES in the earlier die state is now gone. Our grade is MS64. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Population 2; none finer at NGC.
