1801 S-223 R1 Error Fraction 1/000 VF25. Sharpness EF40 with uniform extremely faint granularity under the frosty dark steel and olive brown toning. No marks or verdigris. MDS, Breen state III, with rim cud breaks at IB and RTY. Called net VF25 by Bland. This was Dr. Ralls first early date large cent.
