Lot 579
1798 S-183 R5 Style II Hair, Small 8 VG7. Sharpness VF25 but lightly corroded. No verdigris, just a few contact marks. The notable ones are a dull diagonal nick in the field above the bust tip and a lighter one on the shoulder. Slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel mixed with some lighter chocolate brown. The date and legends are complete and clear. Nicely detailed but not very attractive.
