1798 S-180 R5+ Style II Hair, Small 8 VG10+. Sharpness F15 but there are some light scratches on both sides. Only two of those scratches are visible to the unaided eye, including one from the hair left of the neck to the shoulder at the drapery line and another from the base of the A in STATES to the left side of the O in ONE. The only other notable mark is a planchet chip under the left side of the O in ONE. Frosty medium chocolate and light olive brown. MDS, Breen state III, with a rim cud break at TATE that touches the T & E. The cud is opposite the date causing weakness on the lower half of all 4 digits. Called net F12 and tied for CC#9 by Bland. Noyes says F15 net VG10 and tied for CC#9, his photo #24341.
